I just finished reading a great history book by Robert Kagan. The book was about America’s foreign policy starting in 1900. The author wrote that in the history of world; there has never been a major war fought between to democratic republics. I find that fact to be incredible and very telling. Self
Global leaders have made a serious mistake allowing mass migration into their countries. This is especially true for Western Europe and the U.S. I have researched this issue and below are some of my findings:
Germany was the first major country to allow mass migration. Angela Merkle allowed Syrians into the country, beginning in 2015. Germany now ranks 10th in education among western European countries. Germany is also reporting that 90% of violent crime is being committed by “foreigners.” The country’s economy is also in decline. Syrians do not assimilate.
Spain had to call out the army to stop African immigrants from entering their southern border. This summer, about 70,000 migrants poured into Spain’s southern city of Ceuta in 3 days. Violence, looting, felony assaults, and riots ensued. The hospitals were overwhelmed, mostly stab wounds. Spain’s military sent the migrants back. Spain has a very “rich” social welfare system which is attractive to migrants.
Sweden has a very generous welfare system. Too bad. The country has been overrun with Syrians, Somalians, Afghans, etc. Almost 2 million entered the country. Sweden now has criminal gangs and a high crime rate. The country’s leaders had to make changes to the immigration policy. No more “permanent residency.” And the country is offering to pay $60,000 to immigrants to leave Sweden. That is madness!
France is burning. The country’s economy has declined. France can’t afford the “rich” social benefits. The government has to cut spending. France allowed thousands of foreign students to enter. Now they are rioting. Crime in northern France is directly related to migrant gangs. France is perhaps the most mismanaged country in the Western Hemisphere. Funding for schools had to be cut.
Lastly, the UK. We all know why Brits voted to leave the EU in 2016. Citizens were against mass migration from EU countries. London was overrun with migrants, mostly unvetted and non-assimilating immigrants from Eastern Europe. Many Muslims.
Biden deliberately opened the US southern border in 2021. On his first day in office, he reversed many policies dealing with immigration and announced his plan to grant citizenship to over 11 million illegal immigrants. We all watched the TV coverage of mass migration at our southern border. Day after day we saw the extreme chaos of young men entering the US. These were not refugees, not families. Many assisted by criminal gangs. What was Biden thinking? Most were not vetted, ID’s unknown, uneducated, and unskilled. Now-President Trump has to clean up the mess. Deport the criminals, terrorists, drug smugglers, and human traffickers. The US now has record outbreaks of measles, TB, polio, HIV, chicken pox, Whooping cough, and even the West Nile virus. A major healthcare system has reported that 32% of patients served last year were “non-paying.” And our schools can’t handle the extreme load of non-English speaking students. Madness!
