Welcome to my space!

I am very upset about the politics and economics in the US. I tried to remain silent. I tried to avoid. I no longer watch most news shows. Cancelled the newspaper. Selectively read articles on various websites and do read the business press.

There just is not much fun going on! Everyone seems angry and looking for a fight. And-if someone does express feelings and/or views they are “cancelled”. i am not even sure what that means. But the examples seem to include loss of employment and perhaps legal problems. Ugh!

So-my site will be used to express my views, opinions, facts and reasoning on major current events.

I am a retired international business leader, current college professor, historian, macro economist and outdoorsman. I have lived in 7 US states and had long term stays Tokyo, London and Geneva. I have also worked for the US Dept. of Commerce and the State of Delaware Dept. of Public Instruction. I am a native of NY but grew up in VA. My wife and I have 7 children including 2 in-laws.
